In 15-16 girls, we saw one of many, many fact Colombians who are out to keep up the winning ways of Mariana Pajon and ????. Wearing the Colombian national jersey, Laura Roncancio blasted away like a lil'-Mariana to get the Friday night victory, ahead of fast Floridian Kelsey Dillon.

In the 9x main, it was a close race for 2nd place, with Cutter Williams (Time-2-Shine) holdin' off Tate Mucha (NKRT). Meanwhile, up front with a couple bike length lead was Corsa's Tyler Harnage - another flyin' Floridian to keep an eye on.

In what had to be the best race of the night - the 10 experts had a full pack, and it was all elbows and action from the drop of the gate. By the last turn, the gnarly hoard of 10 year olds were still packed like sardines and it was a 3-way race to the stripe between Putnam, Gentry and Haas.

In the category of "Win by the largest margin," Factory DK's Spencer Cole attempted to win by a complete straightaway, but came up just a little short. Instead, he won by half a straightaway - which, given the conditions, still is quite a feat.

Colombians were on fire tonight - for the Gators pre-race. It seemed like it was a more rare sighting to see an American out fromt!  Once again, it was the Colombian country colors flyin' out fornt for the last main of the night - 28-35x. Not only did Juan Pablo Arboleda Ospina win the main, but he also won the award for longest last name of the night.

It was a great warm-up for the Gators, and with perfect weather on the weekend forecast, a killer track that won't kill the riders (and is gauranteed to make for some excellent racing), this year's Gators is going to be a great one!
