Thom was one of the sports first legends. He was famous for his insane jumping skills, and
for doing it on a drilled out, 50 pound mono-shock. He rode for the infamous Rick`s team from 1973 to 1975. He then briefly rode for Dirt Masters in 1976. Thom was no slouch on a sidehack. Back in the early days, before there were No. 1 titles, Thom Lund ruled the BMX scene. Lund was the original winner of the USGP- a Scot Breithaupt production, at Saddleback.
