Founder and owner of Hutch Bicycles. Rich Hutchins was a huge innovator for the sport of BMX. The quality and craftsmanship where second to none. Rich brought space age materials such as magnesium and titanium to a new level. Hutch Bicycles set many of the "color" trends in the eighties with color such as pink and lavender on frame sets. He had an eye for the talent on the east coast, and took his powerful Hutch squad to the first ever ABA National #1 Factory Team in 1986. The Hutch squad also won it`s fair share of BMXA`s Nora Cup titles. Taking home the Nora Cup`s in 1984 and 1985. Richard Hutchins is retired now and rumored to own several IHOP`s across the U.S.
