My name is Eli "E-Fly" Heaney. Thanks to Chad Powers and Jeff Ketron, I race for factory Power's Bike Shop on a Haro Frame with Profile and Box racing components.
I started racing August of 2011, Only two weeks after I learned to ride a bike. I am from Murfreesboro, Tn.. My home track is Music City BMX. I love our track and the people who ride here. My favorite part is the rhythm section and I also love to jump. I travel as much as I can to race against new people all over the country. I have decided to dedicate the rest of my races to my mom who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2013 and continues to battle the disease. She is my rock and my #1 fan.
My dad is my mechanic and my coach (for the most part)
My most memorable wins were Volunteer Nationals Morristown, Tn. in 2012 were I won all three days as a six "novice" and again at Gator Nationals in Oldsmar, Fl. 2013 where I won my final race as an "intermediate" rider and moved up to "expert". When I'm not riding my race bikes, I race my mountain bike for my school team and I race Cyclocross in the fall. I also like riding my dirt jumper, my park bike, and my road bike with my parents. I also like to play hockey and video games. I would like to thank Pro BMX rider, Colby Murphy, for all his help in my early years.
