2017 Changes for Virgin BMX
We have made some changes for the 2017 season. Some of the chages were made from rider and parent feedback, other changes were made to put us in compliance with USA BMX's sanction rules. 2017 Changes:
- We will be open on Wednesdays only this year. Riders will have the opportunity to practice or race or both. If you choose to practice you will need to check in at registration and pay the practice fees. You will be allowed to practice before and after the races.
- If you choose to race, your race fees will also cover the practice fees. You will not have to pay for both.
- We have increased our practice fees by a dollar. $4.00 for regular riders that use the whole track and $2.00 for Strider/Big Wheeler riders.
- The track will be closed for a portion of each night for Strider/Big Wheelers to practice.
- The race fees will be $10 for regular racers and $5 for Strider/Big Wheelers. This is for local races. Multi point races have higher fees.
- All riders that use the track will be required to have a Valid USA BMX license.(No Exceptions) You may use a 1-day license once. Once that is used you have a few options. 1- You can fill out a profile on on USABMX.com and you will be given a free 7-day license. 2- You can purchase a 30 day license which can later be applied to a full license. 3- You can purchase a full license.
- Strider/BigWheeler riders will be required to purchase a Strider/Big Wheeler license from USA BMX. They will have their own motos on the moto board. They will race between the motos and will be given a regular medal.
