FRIDAY, August 18 is an ALL-DAY Track and Site Prep Day

All skills are welcome! Bikes are welcome as well. Prep will wrap up by 5pm when the Race for Life Event Practice starts!

FULL BATH HOUSE access and OVERNIGHT CAMPING AVAILABLE

If you plan to arrive Friday and Stay Overnight, please arrive no later than 7pm or contact us to make gate and overnight security arrangements (email [email protected], phone 804-301-5059)

Bring your Tent, Pop-up, RV, Pickup, or just a blanket and enjoy some time under the BIG SKIES of Dinwiddie County
- CAMPFIRES are PERMITTED - 'Boy Scout' style - well-managed, safe (water bucket nearby, etc.), controlled, leave no trace - there are barrels to use as well and plenty of wood available to scavenge on site

If you need or want to stay Sunday Night, please let us know and we will do our best to work something out.

NO PARKING FEES or CAMPING FEES THIS WEEKEND

Donations for the Race for Life are encouraged as you are able. Please also support our Vendors, Sponsors, and Raffles.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY 50-50 RAFFLES

We will have two separate 50-50 Raffles with TICKETS FOR SALE Before Each Race and During the Qualifying Rounds - One WINNING TICKET will be drawn just before MAIN EVENTS - the WINNER MUST BE PRESENT and RESPOND WHEN CALLED - WINNER WILL RECEIVE 50% of the TOTAL COLLECTED in CASH. We are also collecting for the 2017 RACE for LIFE, so THE Track will contribute the REMAINING 50% EACH DAY to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in the name of a DESIGNATED RACER.

FRIDAY, August 18 Detailed Schedule

The Race Event for Friday is the USA BMX Double Point Race for Life, a benefit race supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

- This Race is OPEN TO ALL, even those without a USA BMX License - USA BMX Members with a FULL ANNUAL LICENSE earn DOUBLE District Points for this race

- The Race for Life offers Certificate Awards for the Finish of the Day -- For more information on the Race for Life, see www.usabmx.com/site/sections/19

3-5pm is the Final Prep and Setup as well as Vendor and Volunteer Arrival time

5-6:30pm Race Signups at the RED REGISTRATION Building near the FINISH LINE and Gate Practice

- $20 Entry for Novice, Intermediate, Expert, Cruiser, Girls Cruiser - Race for Life Certificate Award
- $5 Entry for Strider - VMP Trophy Award

6:30-6:45pm Opening Ceremonies

6:45-8:00pm Racing and Awards Presentation

(Note that there are no Saver Stamps Awarded for Race for Life Events)

8-11pm Family Time

11pm-6am Quiet Hours

SATURDAY, August 19 Detailed Schedule

The Race Event for Saturday is the USA BMX DK Gold Cup Triple Point Qualifier

- ALL Racers in Novice, Intermediate, Expert, Cruiser, Girl, and Girl Cruiser must be currently registered USA BMX Members with the Full (Annual) license (unexpired) - We have REGISTRATION FORMS available AT THE EVENT during Signup Times and can RENEW or SIGN UP NEW Members

- STRIDER Racers MUST HAVE Either a current USA BMX License or sign the ONE DAY License form available at Registration

8-10am is the Final Prep and Setup as well as Vendor and Volunteer Arrival time

10am-1pmis the beginning of Rider and Spectator Arrival and Setup

1-2:45pm Race Signups at the RED REGISTRATION Building near the FINISH LINE and Gate Practice (Wristbands Required)
- $35 Entry for Novice, Intermediate, Expert, Cruiser, Girl, Girl Cruiser - DK Gold Cup Trophy Awards for ALL MAIN Qualifiers (1-8) - Saver Stamps Available (1st-15 stamps, 2nd-10 stamps, 3rd-5 stamps, Main Maker 4-8-2 stsmps)
- $10 Entry for Strider - DK Gold Cup Trophy Award

2:45-3pm Opening Ceremonies

3-6pm Racing and Awards Presentation

DK Cold Cup Qualifier Trophies are Presented near the red Registration Building after the scores are passed to the Registration Area volunteers. We have a three-tier PODIUM available for you to pose and take pictures as you like.

6-8pm Additional Riding Time (No mandatory fee, please consider a donation to the 2017 Race for Life for this practice session)

8-11pm Family Time

11pm-6am Quiet Hours

SUNDAY, August 20 Detailed Schedule

The Race Event for Sunday is the USA BMX State Champiobnship Race Double Point Qualifier

- ALL Racers in Novice, Intermediate, Expert, Cruiser, Girl, and Girl Cruiser must be currently registered USA BMX Members with the Full (Annual) license (unexpired) - We have REGISTRATION FORMS available AT THE EVENT during Signup Times and can RENEW or SIGN UP NEW Members

- OPEN and STRIDER Racers MUST HAVE Either a current USA BMX License or sign the ONE DAY License form available at Registration

6-9am is the beginning of Rider and Spectator Arrival and Setup
