The first-ever USA BMX Western Divisional Finals took place at the BlackJack nationals in Reno, NV - over Labor Day weekend. With an incredibly smooth and challenging track, featuring a Mad Skills BMX-inspired starting hill, it was nonstop fun from the get-go.

To become a winner of the Western Divisional Final - and receive a custom-made USA BMX Western Champ jersey, riders began with their best 6 scores from the national season, and then added to it their three finishes from Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The pressure was on, and riders were kept up to date each morning on where they stood in the Divisional Finals. By the time main events crossed the finish line on Sunday, points were added up to decide who would win the custom red jersey. There were plenty of upsets and some great come-from-behind mains that lobbed the points in a rider's favor.
