After 4 qualifier races, USA BMX has qualified 32 riders in each challenge class category and 16 riders in the Master class category for the BMX World Championship in Rock Hill, SC this July.

After 4 qualifier races, USA BMX has qualified 32 riders in each challenge class category and 16 riders in the Master class category for the BMX World Championship in Rock Hill, SC this July.
The registration process is open and will be open until May 12th for qualified riders. If you qualified in Phoenix, AZ, Rock Hill, SC, Redmond, OR, or Austin, TX you must register to Team USA by May 12th, 2017. Additionally, if you hold a world number for Medellin, Colombia from the 2016 BMX World Championship you must register to Team USA by May 12, 2017. USA BMX will be managing the Challenge Class logistics for the 2017 USA Team (including registration, entry fees, jersey orders, waivers, etc.) Challenge riders will process those transactions with USA BMX and will purchase their UCI BMX International Rider License from USA Cycling. Below is the latest information on the registration process and current deadlines.

If a rider fails to qualify in the available start positions through the automatic criteria or from the 2016 World Championships, riders can fill out this Discretionary Athlete Nomination form.
The deadline to submit Discretionary form is 5:00pm Mountain Standard Time on Friday, April 28th, 2017. The Discretionary Athlete Nomination forms will only be accepted before the deadline April 28th, 2017, no exceptions. Riders submitting forms will be thoroughly reviewed by the USA Cycling Selection Committee. Rider results will only be considered from the 2016 USA BMX National Age Group (NAG) final standings, the current 2017 USA BMX NAG standings and International events from August 1, 2014, to April 28, 2017. The committee will not add riders to a class to simply fill available start positions. |

Please make sure all the items are available and accomplished before starting the registration process on the USA BMX website. DO NOT attempt registration without these items, as you will be unable to complete the registration. We cannot order additional jerseys once your registration is complete so please plan accordingly as you register. Please acquire and have available the following items:

 Purchase your International Race License from USA Cycling. Keep in mind this process must be completed prior to registration for the World Championship. You will not be able to complete the team registration until you have received your USA Cycling membership number and UCI ID.
