The polls are open - It's GOLDEN CRANK time! Cast your vote for your favorite Pro, Bike, Team and Rookie Pro, with a chance to win a carbon-fiber GT Speed XL frameset. All USA BMX members are welcomed to vote at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GoldenCranks2017. Voting is open until Saturday November 5th!

The Golden Crank popularity award is decided solely by the public - the readers of PULL magazine and members of USA BMX and BMX Canada. This year's tally will be another great battle with some incredibly quick Rookie Pros and new factory teams.

In the Rookie field, recent World Champion Alec Bob will be high-up on the charts, along with Yess' Cameron Moore, who leads with A-pro wins this year. Gold's Gym's Tyler Petty and Supercross' Corey Salas are also amongst the list of factory A-pros, but don't count out the newly-turned Women pros such as Zoe Fleming and Kirtsen Long (Haro-Promax) or GT's Sophia Foresta. Then, we've got the Japanese contingents - with Kohei Yoshi, Taichi Ikegami, Kyoh Sasoh and Asuma Nakai. In fact, Asuma impressed many Americans with podium finishes in the U.S. this year.

Pro? Who is your favorite? Bike? Team? ...so many greats to chose from, but only one winner.

The Golden Cranks have been handed out since 1992, and the award itself has gone through various changes every three or four years. The originals were brass-plated and came with pedals, but eventually the pedals were removed (to keep the brass plating from getting coroded). Many years later, the Cranks received Golden powder-coating, as the EPA made brass-plating nearly impossible. Then, four years ago, Profile Racing - one of the last American-made BMX brands left, created some insanely cool Golden Cranks, using original-stock alloy Profile cranks arms and annodizing them Gold. Now, new for 2017, Redline has come on board with the classic Flight crank (attached to a custom Woody-designed base, that is being powder-coated with metal-flake candy-Gold).

INCENTIVE TO VOTE: Who out there would like to win a carbon-fiber GT Speed frameset?! Are you kidding?! That's over a $1,000 retail value - and one lucky voter will be chosen to take it home. Voting closes November 5th, 2017 - Sunday, at midnight. Once votes have been tabulated, USA BMX will give away the GT frame in a *LIVE* drawing on Facebook Live. Stay tuned on social media for the exact day and time.

Last year, the winners were Yess BMX (for Bike and Team of the year), with Canadian rookie pro Alex Tougas taking Rookie honors and SamWilloughby for Pro. This year? We'll find out at the Saturday night Pro show - in Tulsa, on November 25th. You can see it live at the USA BMX Pro Championship Finals, or watch it online - at usabmx.com/webcast.
