The 8 things you need to know if you are attending the 2016 Silver Dollar Nationals

8 Things To Know about the Las Vegas Nationals
1. No matter the temperature outside, you will never need to step outside once you check in.  You can stay indoors all the way to the arena and you will even be able to watch the racing from the comfort of your room, on your TV's South Point channel.

2. NO BIKES are allowed inside the hotel and casino. When you arrive at the South Point, bikes should be un-loaded by the arena entrance. You can also check-in right there at the Arena entrance. We repeat: NO BIKES are allowed on the floor of the casino or in the hotel rooms and no bikes should be brought through the main entrance of the Hotel. 

3. We repeat: NO BIKES are allowed on the floor of the casino or in the hotel rooms. This rule is strictly enforced.

4. Reminder: Please read and abide by USA BMX's "Code of Conduct" (as per the Rulebook) to ensure that we all have a great weekend of racing and can continue to enjoy great events at the South Point.

5. Coolers will not be allowed in the arena or stall area.  Please keep in mind that, as with any arena, there are limitations on the food and the drinks that can be brought inside.

6. This property has it all - Casino, Hotel, Game Center, Movie Theater, amazing Swimming Pool and plenty of great restaurants.   Come prepared to have a phenomenal time!

7. Please note the unique PRACTICE SCHEDULE and RACE TIMES. We have aded extra practice time for you on Friday, and Saturday's practice times are somewhat modified. Be sure to arrive early so that you can get plenty of practice laps. Plan for a large turnout in all age classes.

Welcome to the
SOUTH POINT HOTEL/CASINO 
Upon arrival at the SouthPoint Hotel/Casino - you can drop off your bikes, rent a stall, and/or Check-In to your room, from the special Drop Off area, located near the Arena Entrance, on the backside of the hotel.  
(See RED arrows on the Map, to the left).

Our distinctive hotel features spacious rooms and suites with 42-inch LED televisions, Point Plush mattresses and WiFi throughout. Our unique feature to this property is its Equestrian Center - home of the USA BMX Las Vegas Nationals. It is the finest horse facility in the country.

Reminder: Please read and abide by USA BMX's "Code of Conduct" (as per the Rulebook).

On behalf of the USA BMX and the South Point Hotel & Casino, we want to welcome you to the Las Vegas Nationals.  It is important to all of us that you enjoy your time here, and along with that, we kindly ask that you treat our hosts with respect so that all parties have a positive experience.

For these reasons, we ask that riders, parents, chaperones, and guests follow the following rules  
during your stay.       
  • No running in the hallways will be allowed.
  • Destruction of hotel property in any way will not be tolerated and the responsible party will be required to pay for the repair.
  • Vandalizing of other hotel guest's property will not be tolerated.
  • Bicycles are not allowed in the hotel rooms at the South Point or on the upper concourse at the event center.  A lock-up area will be provided for your use.
  • You are responsible to secure your own property at all times. 

All of us look forward to returning to the South Point and Las Vegas, 
and want to make sure we provide the respect these businesses deserve.
