Gilbert, Ariz. (April 17, 2026) &ndash; USA BMX announced today that $57,000 in Bob Warnicke&nbsp;
&nbsp;Scholarships for 2026 has been awarded to deserving students. Awards ranged from $3,000 to
$500. USA BMX/BMX Canada members who have a current membership or Track
Operators/Officials who participate in BMX racing events sanctioned by USA BMX/BMX Canada
are eligible to apply. Since 2013, more than $757,000 has been awarded.
Every year funds are raised through the Bob Warnicke Scholarship Race series at the local&nbsp;
track level. Funds are earmarked to assist students and their families in meeting the costs of
undergraduate college education, trade school, and other educational avenues they would like
to pursue. The USA BMX Foundation has created an endowment for the Bob Warnicke
Memorial Scholarship Fund. Each year, money raised through the Bob Warnicke Scholarship
Races and the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony are placed into the endowment. Donations to
the 501 &copy; 3 are always appreciated and are utilized for the scholarship fund. For more

Superclass racing is back for 2026 &mdash; and it's bringing even more heat. The Pro-Am style class delivered one of the most exciting events in recent memory on Superclass Saturday at the 2025 Canadian Grands and returns for its sophomore year. Expect a hungry pack of up-and-comers gunning for National Champions Zach Frier and Makayla Brosius.&nbsp; Meanwhile, the newly introduced 30+ Superclass shines a spotlight on BMX veterans and legends, giving these experienced riders their own battlefield for National glory. This division is expected to expand rapidly as more seasoned competitors step up to contend for the new title. Superclass will be featured at the Friday and Saturday National events.
Superclass Saturday at the Grands
After the dust settles from the Saturday National, you're invited back to the Red Barn to enjoy the new Canadian Grands Show. You'll have just enough time to hustle back to your room or campsite and freshen up before enjoying the pumped-up program.&nbsp; The new format combines the Superclass Final plus the 11-12 Trophy Dash and 13-16 Futures Showdown. New National Track vs. Track Club Competition BMX Canada is introducing a new Track Club vs. Track Club competition, and the best part is that we&rsquo;re doing all the work. No paperwork, no fees and no stress. The new competition is designed for tracks to rally behind all their riders, regardless of age or proficiency. We want to hear your cheers for every single moto! Every track with riders present is eligible and all riders are automatically rostered to the track listed on their membership. No team sheets required. We roll up all three days into an overall-Weekend score to determine the event winners and there will be year-end awards for the top three tracks in the series. How it works: Daily points are calculated using Main Event finishes. The top 10 scores count as follows; Best 4 scores from Expert or Cruiser + Best 4 scores from Intermediate + Best 2 scores from Novice = total points. The Future is now BMX Canada is all in on the next generation &mdash; building the talent that will keep Canada on the podium at home and on the world stage. First up, the 11-12 Trophy Dash puts the top 4 NAG-ranked riders against each other in a battle for the classic trophy. Then, the 13-16 Futures Showdown takes the top 4 NAG-ranked riders from the 13, 14, 15, and 16-year-old Boys and Expert Girls classes and throws them into an epic showdown, with special awards on the line at Superclass Saturday during the 2026 Canadian Grands. USA BMX Cajun Nationals Bring High-Speed BMX Racing Back to West Monroe

Ahead of the opening round of the 2026 USA BMX Pro Series, USA BMX has announced an update to its eligibility rules for riders entering the Men Pro and Women Pro classes.
Effective immediately, the eligible birth year for riders to compete in the Men Pro and Women Pro divisions has been adjusted to 2008 or earlier.
This change creates a clearer pathway for riders who are coming off strong performances in the 17&ndash;20 Amateur classes, giving them the opportunity to step up to the professional ranks the following season.
The goal of the adjustment is to continue strengthening the professional field while providing rising amateur talent with the chance to challenge themselves on the sport&rsquo;s biggest stage&mdash;the USA BMX National Series.
By allowing more top amateur riders to make the jump earlier in their careers, USA BMX hopes to further grow both the Men Pro and Women Pro divisions while maintaining a strong development pipeline from amateur competition to the professional level.
The update takes effect immediately and will apply to all upcoming events in the 2026 season.
