Updated Membership Purchase Experience
Gilbert, Ariz. (May 6, 2020) – Earlier today, USA BMX / BMX Canada launched a completely revamped, mobile-friendly membership purchase experience to better accommodate BMX members and families with the purchase or renewal of their BMX memberships. Working with a local team of website user-interface designers and programmers, the USA BMX / BMX Canada team developed this new membership experience process to streamline the users’ ability to create their accounts or access their current login. The new membership purchase experience even features the ability to use a Facebook or Google account to set up or access membership accounts.
Once inside the membership purchase experience, the user is guided through the process with an easy-to-follow interface. As COVID-19 restrictions continue to be lifted, BMX tracks are already beginning the process of re-opening. To assist in this process, the new membership purchase experience couldn’t be easier, and allows for the creation of brand-new memberships or the renewal of a membership online without the need for human interaction.
Whether users are using a mobile device or desktop, the new “call to action” buttons at the top of the website encourages users to to Log In / Sign Up or direct them to the Get a Membership experience.
Clicking the Log In / Sign Up link will take the user to this screen, where you’ll have the ability to login or create an account using Facebook or Google as presented.
Once a user Logs In and begins the process of purchasing or renewing a membership, they will enter the new experience that guides them through the process by asking a series of questions.
Purchasing a brand-new membership means that most users will simply be placed in the Novice class, except for riders 5 & Under who will be offered the choice between a Balance Bike Membership and a Full Membership. For riders who are renewing their memberships, they will be able to select their proficiency before selecting the appropriate state and track to credit their membership to. Users must select a track to credit their membership before proceeding.
