Golden Crank Awards: Top-5 Finalists & Winners!

Members of USA BMX and BMX Canada were asked to vote for their favorite Rookie Pro, Bike and Team - and the results are IN. Here are your Top-5 Finalists...

Members of USA BMX and BMX Canada were asked to vote for their favorite Rookie Pro, Bike and Team - and the results are IN. And your Top-5 Finalists are...


ROOKIE PRO of the YEAR:                   (listed alphabetically)

  • Cam Wood (Mongoose)
  • Carly Kane (DK Bicycles)
  • Delany Vaughn (DK Bicycles)
  • Riley House (Tangent-Rift)
  • Spencer Cole (DK Bicycles)

...and the winner was: RILEY HOUSE!

Riley had won the first three A-pro mains before the shut-down, and was then victorious in three more Pro Open mains after the 2020 re-boot.
Riley joins a good-sized list of No.1 Amateurs who went on to become Rookie Pro of the Year - including Corben Sharrah, Connor Fields, Josh Oie, David Herman and Nic Long.

...and the winner was: FULL-TILT ~ RADIO !

Led my team owner Fritz Voight and Team Manager Jim Buchanan, Full Tilt has assembled one of the most dominantn BMX teams our sport has seen. For proof, just look at how many Full Tilt'er took their RADIO bikes to Grands wins this weekend (not to mention earning two of the four National No.1 amateur titles).

...and the winner was - for the fourth consecutive time: SUPERCROSS BMX! 

Accepting on behalf of Bill Ryan was team manager and SX office manager Melissa Hammonds. 


For 2020, voting for the PRO of the YEAR was limited to the USA BMX staff, based around the re-booted schedule and Pro Open racing at the past 15 National events. Your Top-5 Finalists are:

  • Anderson Souza (Speedco)
  • Carly Kane (DK Bicycles)
  • Kamren Larsen (Supercross)
  • Jeremy Smith (Corsa-Stay Strong)
  • Riley House (Tangent-Rift)

...and the winner was: JEREMY SMITH! 

After the 2020 re-booted with a long string of Pro Open races throughout the Summer, Corsa - Stay Strong's Jeremy Smith was the clean dominator, winning 11 mains from his 16 podiums.
