BMX has lists for track builders, gate suppliers, lights, extra bicycles, etc. So where is the supplier list for Taps/Cover or Roofs to make these tracks available during Rain or in between rain-outs? When a track doesnt race, the cofers start to run dry. USABMX doesnt get any funds either. Tracks still have to pay their insurance monthly, water, utilities, and other track related fees. As this point as a BMX racer i'm looking at other things to do(hiking, mountain biking trail riding, etc..) since there isnt any consistency in a race schedule due to mother nature and only currently one track in Georgia that tarps their track. Which happens to be on Saturday which can be inconvenient with other activities/events. If another track would tarp or cover on Sunday, they maybe more consistency of racing.
