As of today, on this wonderful Fourth of July, we are preparing to head out to the Las Vegas Nationals. Right now Nick is sitting on 19 wins as an intermediate. The plan was to have him (fingers crossed) move up to 6 expert at Nationals. Nick, on the other hand, has plans of his own. He wants to go for a win before he gets there and race the entire thing as an expert, even if it means taking home a smaller trophy or none at all, these decisions as a BMX parent are so hard. Moving up and on is inevitable, in bmx and all other aspects of life as well. Knowing the best direction to move however, is generally only in hindsight. I guess we'll just have to see how it all plays out. Happy racing everyone!
