Update Day 320  January 2, 2019  Moved up to Intermediate 706 laps, 98 trophies, 82 class races, and 81 cruiser races.  Headed to Vegas Nationals as an Intermediate.

Update for Day 290 December 3, 2018  I have ridden a total of 678 laps, 290 days, 155 races, 94 trophies, 9 first place trophines in Novice class, ready to move up to Intermediate after the Vegas Nationals at the first of the year.

Update for Day 248 October 23, 2018. I have ridden a total of 606 laps inlcuding racing, 8 first places, and 79 total trophies, 6 trophies from nationals.  State races were tough, but I got 12th in class and 8th in cruiser for Northern Cal.  Done with Nationals for the year, and next big national should be Vegas in January, after which, I'll turn Intermediate.

Update for Day 135  July 2nd 2018.  I have ridden a total of 322 laps including racing, 6 first places, and 41 total trophies, 4 of which were Nationals!    Two injuries that have been minor setbacks, but getting more padding and gear to stay safe.    State races have been tough because of the combined age classes, but hoping that some of the upcoming state races will have clean age classes. Made it through Roseville and Bakersfield Nationals and headed to Las Vegas Nationals in two weeks!

Update for Day 100. May 27, 2018. I have ridden a total of 230 laps including racing, got 5 first places, and 19 other podiums, so my progress to 1000 laps is going well.  1 national, and 2 state races under my belt, and 2 more nationals scheduled, Vegas and Roseville.  Hopefully I should be Intermediate by year end.

Ok, so I am back racing after 32 years.    This is day 72 since I started on February 17th.    I have riden a total of 143 laps inlcuding racing so far, got 3 first places, in Novice mind you, and 11 other podiums.   I am trying to ride 1000 laps to see where it takes me.     I am starting to get more comforatble on my bike but still have a lot of work to do.   One wreck so far last week but doing good.
