I have to admit 2020 was a very "STRANGE" year considering I have been at this sport in some capicity for almost 40 years. Really quirky and mindboggling changes as far as sponsors go, and all I had to do was just race.

Considering I had to battle cold, heat, high winds or rain (or some combination thereof) this year at just about every race I logged. The strangest week I have ever had so far was getting dropped by Velocity, which they told me it was nothing I had done and there was no violations of the terms of my contract... to 2 hours later going to The Box "Level-Up" Program which is a very cool place to be.

Great riders, fun parents and even a Great Factory Team Manager - who I met at my home National - Dan Dalton and I hit it off well, and I still believe today with his guidance at the national events I could regain that competitiveness I have been seeking.

The strangest thing racing nationals in 2020 is the year has been bad for just about everyone in some way, shape, and form. But racing on a sunday which fell on the 13th - a bad number in itself. and finishing 6th friday, 6th saturday, and 6th Sunday... was a bad indicator... so with all the bad luck behind me... I now turn my focus to 2 events...The MN State Finals , and the Grand Nationals. May I be Lucky, Quick, and Safe there.

Training is intensive at Sanford POWER Center in Fargo, ND 3 days a week and with the fall weather now colder rides are indoors on rollers, and a climate oontrolled facility that has the room to rise and do 60 foot sprints from a practice gate.

So until next time, Stay Safe, Stay Well, and Be Fast.

Blessings,
