July 8th Albuquerque Duke City BMX single point race. The sun was setting during first round motos first and third straights we're terrible even with sunglasses. I nevertheless qualified first moto running second. During the main I came unclipped over first jump and never could pass anyone for fourth place. July 9th Gold Cup Qualifyer Duke City BMX three of us for total points in 56-60 Cruiser class. Mark Padilla got me again but made him work for it. Wayne was late but made the main got third, I got second Mark got the win. I had a blast at the Las Vegas Nationals. I didn't practice the track Thursday or Friday so entered in the 31 and over open to get some extra track time.
I made all my mains ran 5th in the Open and 56-60 Cruiser class Friday night. Saturday I placed 6th out of 14 in Cruiser and Sunday I had my best finish 3rd in Cruiser. Jimmy from Sparta racing gave me the team trophy that we earned and said "This being your first National with Sparta we want you to have the team trophy ".🏆 Wow thanks what a welcome to the team. Thanks to my Sis for putting us up for the weekend and cooking a delicious dinner.
