It was the final race of the season at Central WI BMX, Kid dynamite WI. was there in force. JT was looking to try his best in his first big race since turning intermediate. The competition was gonna be tougher then he had faced in a long time. In moto #1 he had a good gate and held his own in the field of 6. He finished in a solid 3rd place.
In Moto #2 JT established himself and got his rhythm, he handily won the 2nd Moto.
The main event saw a pumped little man with fire in his belly. The gate dropped and he was off, It was a very good start, JT found himself in a battle for 2nd place heading into the first turn. The entire 2nd straight away he was in a side by side battle for 2nd place and gaining ground on first place. In the 2nd corner JT had the outside line and got pinched up high falling back to 3rd place, 4 bike lengths behind the now 2nd place rider.
It was at that moment the fire in his belly kicked in!! JT gathered his composure and put the pedal to the metal, JT streaked down the 3rd straight, closing the gap and passing the 2nd place rider! JT wasn’t done yet, he swooped under the first place rider to take the lead coming out of the 3rd and final turn. JT kept the hammer down and pumped and peddeled across the finish line over 5 bike lengths ahead of the former first place rider, for his first Intermediate win!
