This was a fun weekend for me! I got to hang and race one of my best friends, Tyler. Saturday I felt good. I transferred out in 1st place in the first moto, but in the main, Tyler had the move of the day. I didn't think there was any room for him to get me in the turn, but he found that inch and got me. I ended up with the 2nd. We laughed about it as we walked our bikes back.
Sunday, I wasn't letting that happen again, and I had a good feeling when my wish came true and I got gate 8 in the main. I know, you are probably saying that must be a typo. But it isn't, I LOVE gate 8. My determination paid off, and I took 1st place. The best part was, that again, we laughed about it as we walked our bikes back.
