Blue Springs BMX is OPEN for practice Monday, 4/19/2021! We will be closed on Tuesday, 4/20/2021.
Mother Nature is just not on board with our track schedule yet so we're going to practice Monday instead.
***CONSTRUCTION ANNOUNCEMENT*** The concrete project is still in progress. That means we have some areas blocked off for your safety. We encourage you to bring chairs and set up along the outside of the EAST fence to watch practice.
WHEN***MONDAY 4/19/2021 Practice times will be:
5:30-6:30PM; **RESERVED PRACTICE** $5; for new riders and novices who are not comfortable on the track just yet. We got a lot of really good feedback from our new riders last year who benefited a lot from this smaller practice session so we will continue with this into 2021. Online Registration is ENCOURAGED (see NEW*** below). https://www.usabmx.com/tracks/0844/events/schedule
6:30-8:30 **OPEN PRACTICE** (includes Balance Bikes on the Balance Bike Track); $5; Online Registration is ENCOURAGED (see NEW*** below). *NOTE there is no practice charge for Balance Bike riders but they must have a membership ($30 annually) and you still have to register them for every event*
NEW***We have a new online registration system that we are using this year. It will be done from our webpage using the USABMX Local Track Registration format. Please be patient as we work thru this changeover. This will be a huge timesaver for us, eliminating the majority of manual input and human errors that result in reposts.

FOOD & DRINK***Concession will be open (at a pop up table due to the construction) with pre-packaged snacks and drinks. Be sure to stop by there to see what they have.
MEMBERSHIP***A current membership is required. If you need to renew you can do that online at https://www.usabmx.com/#&slider1=1
TRY IT FREE***One-Day Trial Memberships are available for first time riders. This will give the rider a chance to try BMX. We strongly encourage you to come to our 5:30-6:30PM practice spot. We will have volunteers who can walk you thru the basics and get your rider on the track with a buddy. You will need to complete the online form for the date of the event that you will be attending. This is a FREE one-day trial offer. https://www.usabmx.com/site/sections/360
WHAT to WEAR***Long sleeves, long pants, closed-toed shoes, and helmets are required. We do have a limited supply of loaner helmets and bikes, just message the track to ensure we have one for you.
IMPORTANT***Jackson County mandates require masks and social distancing. Parents, please remind your riders that when they don't have their helmet on and are inside the fence that they must have on a mask. As always, if you or your rider do not feel well please stay home. For complete county guidelines see https://jacohd.org/.../04/safer-at-home-guidance_v1.5.pdf
We are here to help, let us know if you have any questions. We are super excited to see you all at the track!!
