BMX Racing League

Grand Valley BMX is excited about the 2022 season.  We are excited to announce that the CMU Cycling BMX Team will be assisting with our first session of the BMX Racing League.

BMX Racing is an individual sport. Everyone rides, every time, regardless of how proficient or inexperienced. That is one of the key benefits most new families list when asked why they like the sport. “Nobody Rides the Bench in BMX Racing.”

‚ÄčThe League allows new families to learn how the sport works, and riders to progress gradually, riding only with other beginners. At this level, the focus is on fun, developing bike handling skills, spending quality family time, and meeting new friends.

All League sessions will begin with an Open House for riders and parents.  This gives you an opportunity to visit the facility, ride the track, and determine whether or not you want to participate in League.  You may also just choose to visit the track on any race day or practice day to try things out.

The BMX Racing League is a five-week program.  Each session will be 2 hours and include both instruction and racing activities.  Once the league is completed, riders will be ready to participate in the other weekly activities at Grand Valley BMX.  Participants in the BMX Racing League also receive a one-year USA BMX Membership.  The cost of the BMX Racing League is $149.  In addition to all instruction & racing, each BMX Racing League season includes a jersey, number plate, end-of-season award & pizza party, as well as access to loaner bikes and helmets.

Session 1 will begin with an Open House on Saturday, April 9.  It will take place from 10 AM until Noon.  The five-week program will begin on April 23 and run through May 21.  For more information, or to sign-up, visit
