Recently Ed Fountain Park BMX (EFP BMX) went through a major change providing the riders with a new track surface!  This was done using a new method called Skimming, developed by Bob Schaefer out of Florida.  This method uses a combination of water, fine sand, and Agrilock (dirt glue polymer).  Applying this combo results in a hard and an almost maintenance free surface that requires no water.  This method benefits the Rider, Track Volunteers, and even the environment.  Also, with it being a hard surface with texture, the track is super fast!

Did we mention it requires NO water!?  Known for sending thousands of gallons of water at a minimum of three times a week during the warmer months, Skimming eliminates this need!  Guess you can say we went "green."  Especially since southern NV is in an extreme drought.

We hope you enjoy the new surface.
