2018 Earned Double/State Qualifier Race Information
We are excited to have all of you come and hang out with us for our Earned Double/State Qualifier Weekend. Below you will find some helpful information to insure that your weekend will run as smoothly as possible. If you have any questions, please let us know.
Registration:
Friday registration is 5:30-7:15 pm with racing ASAP. Our goal is to be racing by 7:30 pm. $25 per rider. Double Points.
Saturday registration is 8:00-9:30 am with racing ASAP. $25 per rider. State Qualifier Double Points.
We will only accept cash. Please plan accordingly.
Concessions:
We will be selling candy, chips, jerky, water and Gatorade from our concession stand. Prices range from $1-3.
Camping:
We are offering camping on site at the track. There is no cost to camp. In lieu of a payment we ask that you donate to our 50/50 drawing. We ask that you camp inside the fence around the perimeter. We will be onsite Friday morning. We don’t have any hook-ups. The bathrooms will be open Friday and Saturday. Although we don’t have a race on Sunday, we are allowing you to camp until Sunday. Please be respectful of the track and facilities. If you bring dogs, please keep them on the leash.
Smoking:
We are a no smoking facility. If you need to smoke, please go to the outskirts of the parking lot to do so. Please do not smoke around the spectators and riders.
Hotels:
There are a variety of hotels in Springdale, Hurricane, LaVerkin, and St. George. Book now because they fill up from the Zion National Park visitors.
The Holiday Inn Express at the Hurricane SR-9 Exit is offering our track a discounted rate. The rate is $109 plus tax per night. Click the link below to take advantage of the discounted rate. If you prefer to call, ask for the American Bicycle Association rate. The phone number is 435-986-1313.
Directions:
From Salt Lake City: I-15 South. Toquerville Exit and turn left. When you get to LaVerkin turn left onto SR 9 towards Zion National Park. Travel through Virgin Ut and turn left on Kolob Terrace Rd. (There is a RV Park called Zion River Resort on your right. The turn off is approximately ¼ mile on the left.) The track is on the left approximately 1 mile after you turn off of SR 9.
From Las Vegas: I-15 North. Take the Hurricane exit onto SR 9 towards Zion National Park. Travel through Hurricane to LaVerkin. Turn right at the light and continue on SR 9. (There is a Maverik on the right.) Travel through Virgin Ut and turn left on Kolob Terrace Rd. (There is a RV Park called Zion River Resort on your right. The turn off is approximately ¼ mile on the left.) The track is on the left approximately 1 mile after you turn off of SR 9.
