The State Qualifier will run as scheduled at South Park BMX on September 19. Information regarding the State Final will be provided soon in a separate post.
Registration for 9/18 practice and the South Park BMX State Qualifier on 9/19 is now open at https://www.usabmx.com/site/bmx_races/424131?section_id=23 . Registration for practice and racing is ONLINE ONLY and will close on 5pm on Wednesday, September 16. There will be no registration at the track for practice or racing, no exceptions.
We will be running the qualifier in block format per our update post on August 23. Please see below for our schedule for Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19. The block format racing over the course of the day by proficiency is designed to help limit gathering sizes. The event should not overflow into the following day unless it is forced due to weather. Please be aware that unlike past years, the county has not authorized camping for the weekend.
We are asking everyone to limit attendance to one spectator per rider and to please only attend during your block, and leave when finished. Please do not come to the track early or stay after to spectate. If you have riders that span blocks we ask that you stay at your pit area in-between those sessions.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions our concession sales will be limited. We will only have drinks (water/pop/sports drinks) for sale as well as Chik-fil-a. There will also be 1-2 food trucks in attendance. Please plan accordingly when packing for the day.
