Prince William County Parks and Recreation is pleased to annouce that most restrictions on outdoor recreation sports, including those at NOVA BMX, are being lifted, effective May 28, 2021. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding for the last 15 months as we navigated the COVID restrictions in place at the track. So here are the updates!

You do need to sign up in advance for all gate practice sessions, races and clinics, and be a current USABMX member. If your / your rider's membership expired, please renew at usabmx.com prior to registering for an event. For a variety of reasons, we continue to not be able to process renewals and new full memberships at the track. If you are a new rider, please see instructions in Rule #3 below.

For races, online registration continues to be in place, and will continue to be handled through USABMX's pre-registration system. However, race registration is now open later -- until 2 hours before the race start time. This means that Saturday's race registration closes on Saturday at 10 AM ET; Wednesday's race registration closes on Wednesday at 4:30 PM ET. To register for a race, go to "Schedule" above, and click the red "PRE-SIGN" button on the calendar on the date of the race for which you'd like to register. Race registrations open 7 days prior to each race.

For practices, there is no cut-off time for practice registration. You can sign up for practice well in advance using the red "PRE-SIGN" button on our Schedule, or at the last minute from your mobile device while in the parking lot using this link: https://novabmx.square.site/shop/practices-and-clinics/7

If you are sick, show any signs of COVID-19 or other coomunicable illness (such as coughing, fever, shortness of breath, or new loss of sense of smell or taste), or have recently traveled to an area with a high level of COVID infections, please do not come to the track. We ask all riders and accompanying attendees to perform a wellness self-assessment before coming to the track. Let's keep all our volunteers, riders and families safe!

  7. There will be no stopping on or around the track. For gate practice, full laps only with riders returning to staging or properly spaced pit area.
