Three weeks and three successful Friday evening races! While the turnouts were a bit smaller than our normal Sunday races, they have been a ton of fun and full of great racing. This was our first time running races on an evening schedule so they were a bit of an experiment and I am happy to say by all measures a SMASHING SUCCESS!

None of that is possible without the riders and parents who make it all possible. During these Friday races we have had several new riders making their BMX racing debuts and some with their own cheering sections including handmade signs!!

Racing returns to Sundays with registration from 12-1:30pm and racing as soon as motos are posted.

On a side note, as many of you are aware, our Track Operator Gary Craig suffered a knee injury last week and will be off the bike for the remainder of the season. Surgery to repair the injury will be performed in the coming weeks and this will mean we need your help more than ever to help prepare the track and on race day setups. Stay tuned to the text updates and Facebook for times when track prep is going down, which is typically on Saturdays.

Thank you all again for all the help and support. I am so encouraged by all the new young riders we have coming to the track. The future at Richmond BMX is brighter than ever!

Gary
