New Rider HOLESHOT Clinic starts Tuesday 13th.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL NEW RIDERS!!! Richmond BMX is excited to kick off the first of 3 rounds in 2014 of our very successful NEW RIDER HOLESHOT PROGRAM This is a weekly skills clinic running for 6 weeks which is designed to teach new riders of all ages the basic skills that will help them become a more skilled and confident BMX racer. The clinic will run Tuesdays from 6:00 – 8:00 PM starting with the first group to start May 13th. Cost for the entire program is $20 per rider. ...

Schedule Update and other thoughts
To ensure that everyone has every opportunity to get down to Hampton BMX for the first Virginia State Qualifier of the 2014 season Richmond BMX will be OFF on Sunday April 6th. Hampton is planning on racing three time over the weekend, Friday Evening, Saturday for the State Qualifier race and then Sunday for their Warnicke Scholarship race. Get there, make a weekend of BMX! And for those diehards, VMP will be running on schedule so you have time to race Hampton Sunday and motor back to the RV...

Starting the 2014 season off right!
If you were to look outside the window on Monday the day after our 2014 season opener you would have been sure that the start of the BMX season could not be further away. However, true to the craziness that is Central Virginia weather, one day sun and BMX and the next snow. With a little rain during the mains just to make it all a bit interesting. 2014 Season Opener IS HERE!!!
This is it.... the week we have been looking forward to since last October. This Sunday 2014 Season Opener!! Registration starts at 12 Noon until 1:30pm. $10 Entry. $5 Treasure Trophy Opens, $5 Striders. Then, when all the racing is done, it is on to VMP and round two of the Central VA Double Header!! A great ending to a fantastic season!!
85 riders and 23 motos, 4 racks of Race Luck for a Buck, some awesome custom plaques and a fantastic pot luck dinner all made for one amazing day. I dont think we could put into words exactly what Art and Wendy have done for us here at Richmond BMX, but that was as close as I think was possible to show them. For the 32rd year, USA BMX will be holding Race for Life events throughout the country to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
