CM BMX hired track builder extroidinaire, Eric Bress, to come in and redesign and rebuild our track in late June.  Five days later, we have the track of our dreams!  It's big, fast and jumpy.  But forgiving, rollable, and pumpable.  If you can't navigate these forgiving features, take a clinic.  Learn from our pros and progress your racing to the next level.

The track has changed shape and direction.  It's much faster and no longer rides uphill!  The first turn is a giant beast where you need to know how to block, dive to the inside, and shut the door.  Three big bad boys await you in the second straight.  These are challenging and frustrating our expert racers but thrilling the novies as they challenge your skill and ability - they also thrill and wow the crowd with the potential air show and place to pick up some serious speed.  Out of turn two (widened and added height to the berm) you'll hit the rhythym section.  Can you clear the table top in here?  This is where a lot of passing happens as the skilled pumpers use it to their advantage to get their speed going into the final turn and final straight.  Three features in a row with secret lips to help you clear and fly your way to the finish.  The best viewing is right here.  So grab a seat on the bleachers and cheer on your local racers.

Don't forget your strider riders - the old final straight is now a dedicated stider/small bike track!  The start hill is next to the first turn.  Striders have four features to challenge them and grow their abilities.  All small bikes or new pedalers should start here.  They should NOT be riding the big track unless they can independently pedal up and down every feature.  Please do NOT allow them to drag their bikes up the jumps - this ruins the take offs and landings and can be very dangerous for our jumpers!

Stider races are held prior to the start of all of our races here at Crown Mountain BMX.

Single point races are every Wednesday night, register from 5:30 - 6:30 pm, $10 each bike, free to striders.  Our State Championship Qualifier is August 8th, register between 9:30 - 11:30 pm, $25 each bike and $5 for striders.
