It has been brought to our attention that Hampton BMX is on the projected budget list for the City of Hampton Capital Improvement Projects.

This is what they have listed:

Hampton BMX Park Relocated and Expanded: $1,000,000 The current BMX park at Gosnold’s is limited in size and not very accessible to visitors. This would build a replacement for BMX track and expand the local use and capability to draw larger crowds.

Please take some time out today and take the survey below. It does not matter if you are not a Hampton resident. We encourage every rider from every zip code. There is a proposed budget for the track as well as many other enhancements for our city. It takes a few minutes but it's very important to have a say. There are six different proposed budget categories. The track is under New facilities/major redesign/New features. You have to complete entire survey. http://hampton.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_ahIkLIaJow5Mbjf

There is a city council meeting tomorrow 12/11 6:00PM at the City Hall Building located at 22 Lincoln St. if you want to join us in showing support for our track please do. Some will be wearing their Hampton Bmx jerseys, let's show up in force. Please remember that Council meetings can run long and are not a great venue for little ones. If you have any questions please feel free to call Kelli at 757-768-4629.
