• Description: Special "School's Out" Practice: In light of the school closings, the need for our riders to "burn off some energy", the COVID-19 virus, and the NC Govenor's order on event sizes, we are going to attempt to host open practices for the riders as many days as possible; however, based on the information available and to prevent any issues, we ask all riders and families abide by the following information: 1) Please limit the number of non-riding individuals that attend the practices to as few as possible. We will be keeping a headcount on the number of individuals at the facility. If we approach the 100-person threshold, we will begin turning away riders until there is adequate space. 2) No loaner bikes or helmets. 3) We request that only one person per group/ family come up to the registration line or concession areas at a time. 4) The spectator perch on the starting hill will be closed. Only riders will be allowed on the starting hill during practice and racing. The exception will be 5 & under riders, which are allowed assistance during races, and any new/ first time riders to the track. 5) We will begin a staggered staging and starting hill access process during practice and races to limit extended congregation of individuals in a given area. Specific instructions will be provided at the track. 6) We will be modifying moto board posting for races as well. 7) As most of you know, there is limited running water at the track area. This makes washing hands/ sanitizing difficult. While we will attempt to provide hand sanitizer in appropriate areas, please consider bringing some to the track as well for you and your family members.
