As we continue to expand the clinics this summer, we want to ensure everyone has the best possible experience and is attending the right sessions.

BEGINNER CLINICS: These clinics are designed to teach BMX'ers the basic skills necessary to race safely and competitively on the BMX track. This is not intended to teach basic riding, as riders should have mastered standing and pedaling around the track prior to attending. This IS for riders who have recently started and just attended or are ready to attend their first race all the way up thru those who have raced for a while but are still in the Beginner class.

INTERMEDIATE CLINICS: These clinics are designed to teach next level racing skills necessary to excel in the Intermediate and Expert class. This is intended for riders nearing the move up to Intermediate and those new to the Expert class. Here we will cover advanced techniques in the starting gate, turn skills for making passing moves, manual and jumping skills, conditioning and training techniques. Basically, if you are racing in the Intermediate class and want to take that next step, this is for you.

EXPERT CLINICS: These are for Expert level riders only. Here we are teaching advanced race management techniques like aggressive passing and blocking, big event prep and performance, next level training and exercise, refinement on established manual and jump skills. This is for Expert class riders only.

We hope these clarify what clinic is best for you or your rider.  And remember, there is no substitute for riding as much as possible. What we teach in clinics are foundational concepts that still require riders to put in the time on and off the track. These are balance and hand/eye coordination skills that can be explained, but only can be mastered thru repetition.
