The first three weeks of the season have been amazing, with record breaking turnouts and RAD racing action on the track! With that great start, all required covid-19 safety protocols will remain in place for this Sunday as we continue to return to BMX Racing safely and within City and State regulations.

 

Please read carefully as the following changes will be made to account for COVID-19 health and safety guidelines and to ensure that Richmond BMX will continue to operate this season. The rules outlined will be the norm for the foreseeable future.

We apologize in advance if any of the following is not to your liking and we thank you for your cooperation. It is our primary objective to operate a successful season while keeping things safe for all involved. Let's do the best with what we've got and LET'S HAVE FUN.

1- Online registration is required. There will be no on-site registration. If you are a new rider or if you need to renew your USA BMX membership please do so online at https://www.usabmx.com/

2- Mask must be worn by ALL racers and spectators at all times while on premises.

3 - Only USA BMX registered riders will be allowed on track during race events. Full faced helmet must be worn (face mask not required to be worn with helmet).

4- Please do not arrive to the track facility any earlier than 1 hour before start of practice. No Pits should be set up in advance and should only be set up in designated areas.

5- Pit areas will be marked off on site and may not exceed 25 people as defined by VA State Covid Guidelines. Masks must be worn.

6- To reduce number or people within the track area only staff, volunteers, riders and/or parent to assist in gate starts (for riders under age of 6) will be allowed within the designated track and staging areas.

7- Not wearing a mask or following guidelines may result in being asked to leave the event.

Online Registration will be available until midnight Friday 3/26. motos will be posted Friday for review and changes and final motos will be posted Saturday and will be available on live moto as well.
