This Sunday, May 16th join us in celebrating the life of Mike Holmes in our first MIKE HOLMES DAY RACE FOR LIFE.

Each year USA BMX sponsors Race For Life events to raise funds and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This year we also will celebrate the life and memory of one of our own local riders, Mike Holmes, who lost his battle with Leukemia in 2020.

 

A fierce competitor on and off the track Mike quickly powered through the novice class getting his 10 wins in about as many weeks. We're so happy to see The Holmes/Ball family joining us back for racing this year and we know their dad would be proud of them. Wherever he is, we're also confident he's watching with a smile when he's not busy jumping the doubles.

 

But wait.... there's more!!

This is also a #rocktheoutdoors event, as part of the Dominion River Rock festivities this weekend. There will be a riding demo before practice and then once practice starts on the BMX track, a jam at the jump trails and pump track!

 

This Sunday will be the chance we didnt have last year to celebrate the life and love of Mike Holmes. Come out Sunday and lets #RideLikeMike
