To ensure that everyone has every opportunity to get down to Hampton BMX for the first Virginia State Qualifier of the 2014 season Richmond BMX will be OFF on Sunday April 6th. Hampton is planning on racing three time over the weekend, Friday Evening, Saturday for the State Qualifier race and then Sunday for their Warnicke Scholarship race. Get there, make a weekend of BMX! And for those diehards, VMP will be running on schedule so you have time to race Hampton Sunday and motor back to the RVA for one last race.

It’s the end of March and we already have FOUR outstanding race weekends in the books. Seems every one of them is immediately before or after some weather (Snow, Sleet, Rain) but we have managed to get them all done. Last year we had one race by this time, a marked improvement for sure!

Clinics start April 1st with the Advanced Skills Clinic. Gary Craig is Richmond BMX's official USABMX Coach and Head Coach for the track. We expect to have numerous guest instructors throughout the year and will prominently feature Kelly Lee as a regular instructor. With Clinics and Gate practices sessions in full swing things are really "Jumpin" at Richmond BMX!
