Are you or your little ripper new to the sport of BMX and looking to learn some of the basics needed to compete? Richmond BMX has just the thing for you. Our Holeshot Clinic is a 6 week program that runs every Tuesday from 6-8pm and is designed to teach new riders young AND old the basic skills needed to compete on the track. With USABMX Certified Coach, Track Operator and recent UCI World Championships Team USA Expert rider Gary Craig leading the clinics riders learn skills including: Basic Riding Position, Gate Starts, Jump and Turn Skills.

Many of our young riders who are now racing as Intermediate and Expert riders have come through this proven program. The cost of the program is $25 for the 6 week program. You can sign up for the program on the opening day Tuesday, August 5th.

Riders are expected to have basic bicycle riding skills and should be able to start and stop riding on their bike without assistance.

If you are already skilled, we have got you covered too! Weekly Advanced Skills Clinic lead by Rocket Racing Expert rider Marshall Higgins is held on the same day and time. Cost of this clinic is $5 each week and skills covered each session are depending on the riders in attendance so it is always changing to be sure riders get the most out of each session.

New or seasoned rider, Richmond BMX is here to help you reach our BMX Racing goals. Whether it is to just be on the track and have fun riding or looking to make the next step to State, Regional or National level competition, we are ready to help you achieve your goals!
