Rum River BMX will host the 2016 Land O lakes Nationals

It is with great pleasure that we announce that we were selected to host the 2016 Land O Lakes National on May 13th – 15th at the Isanti Indoor Arena – home of Rum River BMX.  It is a great time for the association and our communities as we could have up to 10,000 individuals attend this three day event.  While Rum River BMX has hosted previous nationals this will be the first in the new Arena.  Because of the dates selected, and the incredible growth being experienced by the association this national is likely to be the largest they have hosted.  In past years this national has seen riders from California to Florida, as far south as Texas and some form Canada also attend.  The national has the potiential to be a tremendous boost to our local economy and people will definitely know we have something happening at the track.  According to track President and To Kevin Riedemann we are poised to have an tremendous year and the national is just the first of a few major events that we will host.

The Rum River BMX Association is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization operating the Rum River BMX pedal bike racing facility, sanctioned by USABMX, in Isanti, MN.  We are a team of volunteers providing area residents with an exciting family oriented activity.  We offer a variety of programs including our STEM program, coaching and mentor program, and high quality racing experience which are all structured to support our athletes’ growth both on and off the track.
