The Northland Fires and Ice Series Starts this Saturday the 21st of March
Race fans... As we previously announces we are excited to bring you the Northland fire and Ice BMX racing series in 2015 at Rum River BMX. It kicks off this Saturday and we are very proud to be offering the "Big Dog an little Dog" dashs as part of the series. The dog dashes will work like pro-ams where multi age opens will run to determine who is the best of the best at the track. Grand Opening Celebrations...
Friday March 13th was the first of 3 double point races celebrating the Grand Opening weekend for the Isanti Indoor Arena. Attendance at the weekend races was great with 1,100 racers over the three days. Most of whom came from MN, but some from as far away as CT and a few from Canada. Race Fans... Grand opening weekend is here... and with it we expect lots of racers in the house. We have just a couple of things for you prior to this weekends tilt. Friends, Well things are moving at 900mph and they don't look to slow down at Rum River BMX. So I wanted to take time to up-date everyone on the latest that we know and the plan that is in place as of Thursday Feb. 19th. What we know now... It looks like we will have a CO early next week which will mean we can take possession of the building. hat is a major hurdle we will be getting over in obtaining the CO and the State inspection on the conssession. ...

Latest up date on the arena and grand Opening
Riders and Race Fans – News flash is in… The latest up dates from the City and the construction team put the opening date of the Isanti Indoor Arena - Home of Rum River BMX the last week of Feb possibly March 1st. The weather and other unexpected delays are pushing our schedule out just a few weeks but rest assured we are doing everything we can to be open by march first. Opening day - on the horizon
Race Fans, The construction is racing on at Rum River BMX but the early November snow storm that dumped 20" of snow on the build site has slowed the efforts. I have posted some new photo's of the progress being made as its very cool... as of today it we are targeting a late January opening day for the new facility. Stay tuned as the weeks tick by we will keep you posted on the exciting advances.

Soo much Cool going on...
Race Fans... There is soo much cool going on this week you would think we are living in Antartica!
