I participated in my first state quailier race tonight at they Mayes County BMX track in Pryor, OK. It was my first time to travel to a new track and then compete on it . It was a shorter overall track than my home track with much tighter turns I really enjoyed getting to race somewhere different. I love th chance to get to meet new people and make new friends at the races. At this race, my main competition was a boy named Maddox who came to the race from Springfield MO area. We had fun hanging out between the races. In the first of the 3 races I took first place and it was exciting. In the seconds race Maddox took first and I took second. So it all can down to the third race, I got s little wild on the first turn and went higher than my usual path and it threw me off so I took second but gave it my best effort. I think a second place at my first ever OK SCR is a great accomplishment. I am hoping to go to the Yukon BMX track next week to compete in my second qualifying race there.
