Coaching

The objectives of the USA BMX Coaching Program are to;

1. Increase the safety of BMX Racing for riders of all levels by having background checked, safety conscious coaches that are able to teach fundamental racing skills.

2. License Coaches that will work with Local Tracks to develop and manage BMX Racing Leagues and New Rider Programs that will instill the love of BMX Racing as a lifelong sport.

There are two types of USA BMX Coaching Licenses, they are:

1. Local Coach
   • A local coach is attached to a track and manages or assists with the BMX Racing League and/or the New Rider Program for that track
     
     
2. Traveling Coach
   • A Traveling Coach is an experienced coach or Professional racer who travels to different tracks and works with Local Coaches to bring a unique learning experience to local racers.
