Well the WA State Finals have come and gone, and what a great time! Columbia Basin BMX did a great job putting on that event, and all the kids and parents of One Trak Mind racing had a great time!
Going into the finals Trenton had an outside chance of earning a State Plate, but needed a great finish in the Main and also needed a little help from from some other kids ahead of him to get it. He made his Main and finished 6th, so he finished just out of the plates for the year. He is already looking forward to next year. By that time, with a full year of experience under his belt, he'll come home with one! He worked hard all weekend, and he is rightfully pretty proud of his body of work in his first year of BMX racing!
Jacy went out there and did very well! She raced hard, overcame some early disappointment and brought home the #2 State Plate for the 9 year old girls class! We are very proud of both of the kids for their efforts on and off the track.
Our next big BMX adventure will be to the Gold Cup West finals at Silver Dollar BMX in Chico, CA in October! Should be fun!
