Well, had our first trip to River Valley BMX, and it was a blast. It started raining a little at the end and the track got a little sloppy, but all in all it was a fun track. The kids and I have a little getting used to outdoor racing. Our indoor track at PIBMX in Port Orchard is smooth, fast and short compared to what we've experienced outdoors in Port Angeles and River Valley so far. So last night, Jacy got a 2nd place in 9 Girls, Trent got 3rd in 12 Intermediate, and I got 4th (last) in 19-27 Expert. But as a 41 year old novice, I thought I did pretty good. Got some good gates anyway. Can't wait until next time!
