He just got too far ahead of me into the first turn that by the time he had lost his steam coming out of the last turn I was just entering the 3rd turn and couldn't pull it out. Road training regimen will cure this. But to be sure, he outsprinted me to the first turn and that was all she wrote.
Technical issue - left foot uncleated in my first moto. Wouldn't have beaten Tory Newman to qualify and as it was Lloyd didn't race so I was in the main already.
