1) So how does it score on the SQR Points total?

SQR points table

Example1,. - In my 1st SQR i placed 3rd in Intermediate which equals 17 points, however since i raced 5 races that qualified for 2 extra points leaving my SQR points @ 19. Nice, thats 1st place! Once my single point races updated to a total of 6, that original 17 points is now 20. Once my single point races updated to a total of 8, that original 17 points is now 21. Cool, better than expert points.

Example2,. - Also in my 1st SQR i placed 6th in Cruiser which equals 15 points, however since i raced 5 races that qualified for 2 extra points leaving my SQR points @ 17. Better, thats 4th place! Now that single point races have been updated to 6, my cruiser score is 18 (3rd). Once my 8 single point races finally posted my cruiser score settled @ 19 (2nd).

Racing the Single Point local events can significantly improve a riders odds to getting a State Plate than someone NOT racing the single point local races. Any single point race before July 15th will continue to update the SQR totals as they are posted.
