Today I raced in Intermediate(not enough novice to make a class) and Cruiser(36-40).
For Cruiser I went 3-1-1 having just missed a straight transfer out in round 1. Won round 2 by a good bit. For the main I had a good start, slotting into 2nd in the first turn and kep the leader within reach. Coming out of the last turn I made a move through the rollers to make the pass and take the win.
In Intermediate I went 3-2-4. Once again, I barely missed the staight transfer by a bike length in round one. Round 2, I knew where I needed to be to make the main, so I stayed in 2nd while being defensive. In the main I had a decent start but by the middle of the 2nd straight my legs were gassed and made some mistakes. The top 3 were already pulling away and I just coasted across the line.
