I went into the Gold Cup with 39 points. Day 1 in 9 cruiser I finished with a second place. My friend Wesley took first. This kept Wesley in first place and put me 2 points back. Day 2, I really wanted this. I transferred out first moto and waited until the main. In the main I made it out of turn 1, and heard the announcer say, "A rider is down in turn 1. Two riders down in turn 1." I never wanted that to happen to my friends, but I crossed the finish line in 1st place and got the #1 plate and jacket. I felt proud of myself.
