I felt pretty good this weekend. It was my first day in the Chip N Dale colors. I was on this team when I was five and Andy Currie has always been a supporter of mine. Day 1 had 12 riders in the ten cruiser class. Before I get to that, I would like to say how awesome it was to watch my friend Tyler Bailey dominate this weekend. Now onto 10 cruiser. I transferred out in round 1 and in the main had gate 7. I had a good gate, but in the last turn my Florida racing buddy, Tyler Harnage, was on my tail. Tyler said I had him by a wheel at the finish line. That was my 6th win at a national! I was so excited!!!!
Day 2 I woke up to what I thought was someone pouring their cooler over the balcony, but nope, it was a downpour of rain. It was a one moto transfer into the main. A decision had to be made, and even during the national anthem it was on and off rains. It wasn't worth the risk. It turned out to be fine during the mains, but I helped give out trophy tickets and watched my friends race.
