This week, Matt had been looking forward to getting some good riding in. He was coming off a win at the Pineview Park State Qualifier. However, Mother Nature had other plans for this week. Between rain on race days, hard rain and flooding of local tracks making races impossible, and a possible tornado hitting a newer indoor track nearby, it seems that this week was not meant to be a racing week in southern Minnesota.
This next week, hopefully, will allow many of the local tracks in the area to get repairs done from the weather, and allow the tracks to get their Olympic races in. This is the last week of racing before the Midwest Nationals in Rockford, so many riders are looking forward to getting some practice in this week. While we aren't taking Matt to Rockford, he will have fun practicing with many of his team mates and friends at the local tracks while they get ready.
