No.1 Pro - Joris Daudet

Filed under National Champions on January 31, 2019 | Comment(s)

There is no question that Frenchman Joris Daudet had an amazing year - by the end of November, he finished off 2018 making 24 USA BMX mains. Of those 24 mains, he won 16 of ‘em and stood on the podium 20 times - which puts amongst the Greatest in the win-to-main ratio. (See this month’s Rhythm for a comparison.)

After coming inches away from anotherWorld Championship title this summer, Joris’ third U.S. No.1 Pro title has him on track toward a record-tieing fourth No.1 Pro plate in 2019 (which is currently held by Gary Ellis and Pete Loncarevich).  ...But first up on Joris' list for 2019 is becoming a dad for the first time. Wife Teegan (a former race herself) is due in March. It’s a BOY.
