MAMA MX Weekend with VMP BMX - Oct 12-13 - TWO Races!!
Mid Atlantic Motocross Association (MAMA) is coming to the Virginia Motorsports Park again in October and ONCE AGAIN has invited VMP BMX to participate in their Weekend Activities!
For this event, we have TWO BMX Races where we are inviting the MXers and their friends and families to bring their bikes and join in the Pedal-powered FUN!

BMXers are Welcome and Encouraged to Come Out to Ride, Demo, and, of Course, RACE!
At the gate, tell them you are there for BMX and you will get FREE GATE ENTRY for you and your Guests

Here's the rundown...
Saturday Oct 12 at the BMX Starting Hill - FREE PRACTICE, $5 Race Entry, FREE Race Entry for First-Time Racers with any new membership (including the One-Day FREE membership and Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play membership)
11:00-11:30am - Introduction to BMX Racing for Parents and Racers of all ages
11:30am-3:30pm - Open House - check-in and BMX wrist band required
3:30-4:00pm - Introduction to BMX Racing for Parents and Racers of all ages (repeat)
4:00-5:30pm - BMX Race Signup and Official Gate Practice
5:30-5:45pm - BMX Race lineups posted, Opening Ceremonies
5:45-7:00pm (approx) BMX Racing (Total Points format)
Evening - bicycles permitted on BMX track per parental consent and MAMA on-site management
Sunday Oct 13 - FREE PRACTICE, $10 Race Entry, FREE Race Entry for First-Time Racers with any new membership (including the One-Day FREE membership and Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play membership)
AM through 2pm - bicycles permitted on BMX track per parental consent and MAMA on-site management
2:00-3:45pm - BMX Racing Gate Practice and Race Signups - BMX wrist band required
- check-in at the Red BMX Building (Registration)
3:45-4:00pm - BMX Race lineups posted, Opening Ceremonies
4:00-5:15 (approx) - BMX Racing (Transfer format)
Basic Equipment Requirements: Bike, Helmet, Long sleeve Shirt (below elbows), Long Pants (or shorts with full knee-shin guard), close-toed shoes
- 'Any' bike the rider is comfortable riding on the track may be used - check in with Registration and with the Gate Starter to verify basic equipment safety
- Full face helmet is recommended, gloves are recommended
USA BMX Membership is available during Race Signup at the Registration Building
- One-day (FREE) along with Paid 30-day and Annual options - ALL AGES welcome!
- Riders under 18 years old require adult signature at signup and supervision throughout the events
